Philosophy
SOR: comes before a name SOMBOON: means "PERFECT"
Sor Somboon is the only way to describe the ambience and climate of Tropical North Queensland and now you can experience a Muaythai Camp in the heart of this tropical paradise. The first Thai Boxing Camp to be established in Australia.
Sor Somboon is based on the training techniques of Mr Pramuk Rossanatan, one of Thailands most respected promoters, who started 'Por Pramuk Gym' in 1974 and has trained many of the worlds best Muay Thai fighters such as Buakaw, Numsaknoi, Ponsawan, Chokdee, Kompayak and Saichon.
Sor Somboon has replicated Muay Thai principle's and created a Muay Thai camp in a similar climate, with the same trainers, the same training schedules, even the same Thai Meals, all in the comfort of Australia.
Although I recommend every Muay Thai enthusiast experience Thailand first hand, for those who can't afford it or whose partner won't allow it, you now have the option of coming to SOR SOMBOON!
